World Vision Artists Program

For over 50 years, the ministry of World Vision has striven to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people throughout the world. In times of crisis, such as the famines of Africa, the floods in Central America, the tsunami in Asia, Hurricane Katrina, the wars in Kosovo and Sierra Leone , and the crisis in Afghanistan, World Vision has stood on the front lines providing care in the name of Jesus Christ.

World Vision also works to promote long-term solutions to the problems of world hunger and poverty. They support community development, leadership training, Christian outreach and public education. Through child sponsorship programs that are designed to promote self-sufficiency, World Vision works with people all around the globe (Over 1,700,000 children are currently sponsored). The organization remains dedicated to serving God by ministering to children and families, providing emergency aid, assisting community development, furthering evangelism, strengthening Christian leadership and challenging Christians to get off the sidelines and get in the game regarding their involvement with the poor both here in the U.S. and abroad.

Through the World Vision Artists Program, Christian artists use their talents to provide help and hope to children in need. Caring and creativity join forces to make a tangible, lasting difference in the name of Christ. You can use your on stage platform to encourage members of your audience to become World Vision child sponsors. As an Artist Associate, you’ll be an active member of the World Vision family, doing your part to change lives around the world. As an Artist Associate, World Vision provides you with the resources you need, (training, tools, information and materials), to present child sponsorship to your audience.
